Some (including myself, for much of it) may find this absolutely insufferable, but I've also found it constantly popping back into my head in the few years(?) since I first gave "You Are My Everlovin" a listen and read this alongside it. So even if this is a bit painful to read, if you have any interest in this now-well-loved piece of experimental music or in sharp criticisms of the use of American folk music since the birth of rock and roll, I suggest giving it a shot.

I am only 20min in and am going to stop now, but only so I don't spoil it for myself. I want to save it for meditating tomorrow, which I think it will be excellent for. Thanks for the recommendation!
