    Off-topic but is Far Cry 5 any good? I have heard really mixed reviews so far and several friends who bought it only played a few hours before giving up due to frustration. I loved the previous...

    I have heard really mixed reviews so far and several friends who bought it only played a few hours before giving up due to frustration. I loved the previous two games (FC3 and FC4... FC2 can die in a fire though, friggin' malaria and respawning roadblocks!) including Blood Dragon but I am wary of spending $80 on FC5 based on what I have heard so far.

      I've actually been holding off myself, for similar reasons (and I loved the previous two, too!). It seems like a lot of folks felt it was both a step forward and a step back. I figure it'll go on...

I figure it'll go on sale on Steam at some point, and it'll be a lot more reasonable to take a chance on for the price then. :)

        That seems the sensible decision and despite my desire to play it is probably what I will do too. At $80 I can't really stomach the risk it will suck but at $40, that's ok.
