There's been a lot of Rush talk on Tildes lately and I'm gonna add to that a little bit more. I'm a big fan of Rush's late 80s/early 90s stuff and this is currently my favorite song of theirs. It makes me feel like everything is gonna be ok, which is really rare for me. The lyrics are wonderful, and the guitar chords right before "I'm not one to believe in magic", oh my god. I don't know how people can make such good music, that makes me feel so strongly. The "don't ask me, I'm just improvising part" is one of the most impactful pieces of music I've ever experienced. It's an incredible buildup and I'm not used to that kind of buildup in the metal that I listen to. It's simple but so powerful.
I think (but don't know for sure) that this is the only tour they played this song on.
