Not sure of their credibility, but there seems to be a contradiction between that article and this one. Specifically, Whitney Petty is quoted in the linked article as stating that the Supreme Court suggested the name was immoral and scandalous, whereas the article I just linked suggests that it was the Patent and Trademark Office.
Granted, these articles are separated by about a year and one is a direct quote while the other isn't, so I don't want to suggest any lack of journalistic integrity. Rather, I want to point out that there's a potential inaccuracy that has some rather important implications.
