I had the extreme pleasure of seeing king crimson at the berklee performance center, perhaps one of the most acoustically perfect auditoriums in the world. They didn’t even use any reinforcement, just their onstage amps (except vocals of course). It was their first tour after their experiment of plugging instruments straight in to the mixing board, and a return to the early 70’s sound. Great stuff.
