For extra context, this is a compilation of the Christmas covers she's released yearly since 2017. "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" is my favorite of the four, with "Christmas Song" a close second. "7 O'Clock News / Silent Night" is much heavier and more topical. Matt Berninger (of The National) narrates, and Fiona Apple provides background vocals. Star-studded, but... it's hard to listen to.
Phoebe Bridgers has also been killing it with the Bandcamp fundraisers. She covered The Goo Goo Dolls' Iris with Maggie Rogers and raised $173,000 for the Fair Fight charity. She also released a demos collection for songs off of her latest album, Punisher, to raise money for bail funds.
When I saw her live in 2017, she even was taking donations at the merch booth for a mental health cause of some kind... the details are fuzzy in my memory, but she's definitely been doing this sort of thing for a long while. Love Phoebe!

According to some of the articles about it, proceeds go to Los Angeles’ Downtown Women’s Center, but I don't know if you need to buy the single individually somewhere for that.

I love Phoebe Bridgers so much. I didn't realize that ghost was like a talisman for her -- I /think/ I get it?
It pops up all over her album art, especially singles. Check out her cover of Manchester Orchestra's The Gold, too!
