A cool site where you can make mainly 8-bit music. It stores what you've made in the URL by default, which is needed given it's a website and music takes time to create. Here's a simple loop I made based on an actually pretty different song.

Edit: I added in some more chords and changed the main instrument

You can see their Twitter for (good) songs others have made.

Uneducated musing about copyright One of the things I wonder about is that the beepbox website says they give that to the creators. Given that beepbox doesn't do account registration, upload dates or anything (not that that's something I would *ever* reccomend) then theoretically the only way to prove a song was made by a person is that person saying they made that song or posting some evidence of that which could theoretically be stolen or misattributed and if the person who made that is just a typical person, they don't have any formal way to enforce the claim that they made it either if they don't have an account in a music sharing site or anything.

(I am not knowledgeable on copyright and intellectual property so just take this as me wondering if someone with could just steal anything you make there and say it's theirs because you're not registered as a musician.)
