A few weeks ago my spouse and I were knitting on the couch and as a joke, I asked our smart speaker to play some Kraftwerk while we crafted. It was actually pretty good crafting music! So today, we were doing some prepper crafting (making supplies for our earthquake preparedness kit) and my spouse put on some Kraftwerk again to make me smile. The song Computer Love came on. About halfway through it, my spouse said, "Hey, isn't that the same melody as a Coldplay song?" I listened and realized she was totally right! So I hopped online and sure enough, Coldplay based the main riff of the song Talk on the melody from Computer Love. I never would have put those 2 bands together, but I thought it was pretty cool!
I've always loved this song because my Dad is a big fan of Coldplay, while I find them interminably boring, but Kraftwerk is more my speed... This song is a good compromise. Maybe check out this...
