I haven't had a decent DJ setup for years. YEARS. I used to play out and about with a huge case of vinyl but have long since run out of space for a set of decks and mixer. Last week someone alerted me to a cheap used Traktor controller near where I live, which I picked up and have been playing about with. Finally pressed 'record' while playing about this afternoon (admittedly I spent 3+ hours last night trying to create a controller map which made various buttons to light up when I pressed them, rather than remembering how to DJ).
I hadn't heard any of these tunes in advance and I didn't have any monitoring set up so it was all mixed blind, but I think it came out OK. I usually prefer things a bit more fast and aggressive but I thought this was a nicely chilled out kind of mix for a friday afternoon.
This is really great, really hits the spot. Great work! I could listen to your mixes for hours if you put them out. It's really just good house and good vibes all the way through. Are you french...

Edit: your mix from six years ago, has one of the best intros in any mix I have ever heard. Brilliant.

I am not French but when I logged in to my ancient mixcloud account today, I discovered I'd been titling my mixes in terrible made up/high-school French so I feel like that's a tradition I should continue. If there was a reason for that I don't remember it.
