Ace Linguist is - as you might've guessed - a linguist. They sometimes analyze music, looking at how artists use and pronounce language; typically English. This month, they're checking out ABBA and how their native Swedish, together with their learned American English and British English (RP), influenced their lyrical choices.
Plus also goes into some of the history of ABBA and controversies surrounding the band's music. I had no idea of these controversies -- I just enjoy loudly singing along to some "Mamma Mia" and "Dancing Queen" when on my cross-country drives!
