How fucking blind do you have to be to think that the racial tension in our country is caused by inflammatory social media posts, protests, or movie castings. As far as I'm concerned, we just hid the public lynching, racist pieces of shit still hate people for the color of their skin, and get away with treating them as less than human.

I highly recommend the "Behind the Police" miniseries by the same people that do the Behind the Bastards podcasts. They didn't have time to cover everything, but it's a good dive into the history of policing in the US.
