Reading this and a few related things had left me with a few surprises that I didn't know about. One of the lawsuits he filed was against Antifa itself, and the case was dismissed because Antifa isn't an actual legal entity. This particular lawsuit hinged on the defendants being liable for revealing Ngo's presence, which is particularly ironic given that one of the reasons why Ngo is so hated is because he regularly doxes antifascist activists. It doesn't appear that they actually laid hands on him. One article I read - ironically from the Post Millenial, Ngo's now full-time employer - even mentioned that one of their testimonies even included that they did not even witness the beatings; they just told a single reporter about it. Ngo also testified that he did not believe that he physically beat him. The man also testified that he wasn't even a part of Rose City Antifa, the group Ngo was trying to sue, and does not even identify with the term "antifa". Weirdly, other than a short anti-antifa blurb and a frankly baffling URL, the PM article seems to be more sympathetic towards the defendant than Ngo himself.
I'd rather not link to the Post Millenial, but if you're really curious...... here you go
This should probably go in the weekly US politics thread. It's good to see that inept troll Ngo get told to kick rocks, but it isn't landmark news.
