A little bit clickbaity since the process was a joint-effort by politicians from both parties - the politicians were convicted in 2007, pardoned in 2015 by Duda and the Supreme Court reversed the pardon in June 2023 (the president of the Supreme Court was appointed by Duda by the way). The Warsaw city court sentenced them in December since the pardon was overturned. So… it took a while but Democracy works.
