I doubt it would have any effect on it, she is the first female muslim in congress. Keith Ellison was the first Muslim ever in 2007 and there have been a handful of Muslim congressmen since....

Since I'm from Minnesota, I dislike how this "first Muslim congresswoman" narrative leaves out Ilhan Omar, who is also likely to be elected to congress this year. I get that running unopposed...

I get that running unopposed means a guaranteed win, but Ilhan Omar is in a district where being a Democrat is a guaranteed win.
