Obviously plenty of extremists are happy to stay online and recruit via those channels, but the ability to normalise white nationalism and affect actual change is greatly reduced without access to public spaces (which is why it's also important that online public spaces similarly take a zero tolerance stance)

Counter-demonstrators aren't trying to eradicate white nationalism, they already know most of those people are beyond hope, but are trying to take back their platforms so that society can continue without racist, extremist interruptions, as it had been before the election.

There is no "final solution" to white supremacists. The best we can hope to do is to keep them contained.
