CSU didn't lose their dominance to the Greens - their voter bases are polar opposites - they lost to AfD, the neo-nazis, which is very scary news. The Guardian article covers this more realistically I think.
Thanks for providing some context. The AfD actually had the largest seat swing, from 0 to 22 seats as compared to the Green's 20 seat gain. The left leaning SPD also lost 20 seats so overall this...
