honest question: who the fuck actually wants to go to war with iran outside of the administration? even the wars which people think are justified that we've involved ourselves in throughout the past 18 years (libya, syria, sometimes afghanistan depending on who you ask) are things people didn't generally want after awhile because of war fatigue, but nonetheless thought we had an obligation to help out in because of shit like geopolitics. there is literally no similar excuse for iran; donald and co. are just mad about some asinine, abstract shit like iran not being willing to suck the US's dick and going back on a deal that the US itself vacated. and, i dunno about you, but that seems like it's going to be a hard sell to the american public considering we've been at war for close to two decades with smaller, less powerful places at this point for really no tangible results other than massive destabilization of the region.

You know what would be nice? One single year without a US war. Longer would be nice, but baby steps. Let's not go TOO crazy.
