I could buy that he's more stupid/foolish/whatever than Trump. Maybe. I don't know either of them well enough. But most of the UK's strength comes from its position within the European Union … which it lost. The UK now is a country that we're very much free to altogether ignore if it starts behaving erratically. In fact, that's been more or less the case since the Brexit referendum.
Point is, yeah, Johnson could be more dangerous than Trump if he were in a position of equal power to him. But he's not. He's dangerous for the UK, that's it.
Boris Johnson, unlike Trump, is also not someone who is "well liked" by any possible account. Trump has a propaganda machine behind him and a party backing him up; Boris is overall strongly disliked.
The idea of Brexit divides the UK because the UK has always been divided on its independence. It spent decades "fighting off Big Europe", retaining its own currency, carving its own exceptions in the EU, etc. But Brexiteers are not pro-boris. Hell, I know many people who are strong brexiteers and all except one hate Boris Johnson's guts.

I'm visualizing the U.S and Britain actually becoming the bad guys if these two get together.
