Mostly killed by Russian aircraft apparently, Turkey has requested an Article 4 consultation (and unsurprisingly received "thoughts and prayers" and so Turkey started bussing refugees to european border towns
I dont really follow Turkey or the Syrian war so i dont have anything to add. Interesting times though.

Not sure whether i should post the refugee links separately or keep them here as it seems connected to the larger picture. It absolutely is imo. Their explanation seems flimsy to me and the timing is just too convenient for it not to be a thinly veiled threat at the EU-NATO countries. "Help us out, or else."
Reputable german news outlets are reporting on both issues in the same article anyway, see https://www.tagesschau.de/kommentar/kommentar-idlib-erdogan-101.html or https://www.sueddeutsche.de/politik/syrien-tuerkei-russland-un-sicherheitsrat-migration-europa-1.4826220 e.g.
