I love it that UBI is rather suddenly in the zeitgeist, and actually seriously being considered by so many governments. I honestly didn't expect to see that happen within my lifetime, but if there is a silver lining to this pandemic, this may be it. Now that the genie is out of the bottle, and people are slowly coming to realize how much a monthly stipend could potentially help everyone (even pandemic notwithstanding), it's going to be increasingly harder for politicians to ignore.
