Man I was in the US Navy and really felt this news in my heart. Part of me hoped they all died when the oxygen ran out, because I would think that's maybe an easier death than drowning or getting crushed to death.
Tragic to read they had broken out the emergency survival suits. They must have known the ship was doomed but had maybe some hope of getting out somehow. The boat was 40 years old and under half a mile of water. Total gut punch.
