That, my friend, is a uniquely US American phenomenon that I do not share. Although I suppose the Patriot act also affects me in a way.
I'm sure your government has an analogous inanity. They all do, though it may not be as overreaching and bone-deep as ours.
I won't deny that, but it doesn't hide within backronyms.
