Wow, this post really wants you to practice your reading. Very interesting though. As someone who did not learn through phonetics, I definitely ran into hurdles. I could understand, but had a lot of issues reading out loud, recognizing words when others did and spelling. Curious what others thought. It'll also be interesting to learn how this differs from learning English as your first or second language.
