As a scientist I can often get a bit jaded with 'popular' science videos that I feel really over simplify complex things to the point of no longer even explaining that thing in the first place. His videos on the other hand take things that seem simple at first and follow them through their often counterintuitive consequences. I always manage to learn something new watching them.
