A new report from a thinktank dedicated to reducing partisanship attempts to outline the political groups which best describe most Americans. Surprisingly, they find that progressive activists and devoted conservatives make up only 14% of the population. Also, both groups are fairly young, which doesn't bode well for future attempts to reduce partisanship. You can read the full report here.
