Are you fucking kidding me? Australia is one of the USA's most obedientfaithful allies. We've had a tripartite alliance with them and New Zealand for nearly 60 years. We've followed them obedientlyfaithfully into wars when noone else would sign up - up to and including the ill-fated invasion of Iraq by the Coalition of the Willing. We were one of literally only two other countries who put troops on the ground for that invasion. We have even been accused of being America's "deputy sheriff" in the Asia-Pacific region. We have consistently stood by the USA for decades, even at times when almost noone else did.
And this is the fucking thanks we get? Some American politicos don't like buying our "aluminum" (they can't even spell it properly!), so they want to put tariffs on it, as if we were some enemy or adversary? I know Trump has said it's not happening, but the fact that his people would even consider such a thing is beyond the pale.
Donald Trump is famous for writing 'The Art of Deal' (or, at least, getting someone to ghost-write it for him). His next book should be 'How to Jilt Friends and Irritate People'. Loyalty counts for nothing with him and his people.
At the very least, he needs to pick better advisors.
