Trying to summarize it here, but I'm missing elements ... an alt-right group is targeting mainstream conservative events' Q&A sessions to troll and dog-whistle white supremist stuff into the conversation. Don Jr's book signing cancelled the Q&A last-minute, leaving the alt-right troll audience members with no voice, so they booed him off the stage.
The levels of irony go deep here. Turning Point USA invites right wing speakers to left wing universities, then films the inevitable conflict. It then publishes very selective videos of them...
Don Jr publishes his book "Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us" so what better way to get some publicity than have Turning Point USA schedule a talk at UCLA? Surly some angry libs will turn up and they will get some sweet video of them owning the angry, irrational and hateful left.
Only, the alt-right has started turning up at Turning Point USA events angrily asking anti jewish questions.
So instead of a bunch of angry irrational liberals, Don Jr was faced with a bunch of alt-right fascists, so they said there would be no Q&A.
Because it turns out the right wants to silence the alt-right's fascist views.
And all the alt-right fascists that showed up hoping to air their suppressed fascist views... were very angry.
Angry, that they got silenced.
