It was launched in April, but the article is from June 22'nd. Does anyone have news about how the test went? Regardless of the success of this particular test I'm glad there are experimental projects to deal with the debris issue before it gets worse. Will a net work to capture debris? What happens to it then? Will a harpoon successfully pierce items so they can be reeled in? Will the satellite drag the pieces down still dangling from a mass of harpoons?

This is still early days, and I'm curious about the logistics of it once they've figured out if nets or spears work well. Also, if they don't brand them as space fishers of some sort I'll be somewhat disappointed.

If you're watching the attached video: it takes a full half of the time to show the thing being taken to orbit and released.
