    The article didn't go much into how long it took the star to disappear, or how long it took anyone here to notice it did. We have the two photos from 2007 and 2015, but other than that it's just kind of open. Now I know 8 years in astrological terms is crazy fast, but still it'd be cool to know how much time passed between the supernova and its disappearance from the night sky.
