I have to say this was pretty surprising. Is he done with football? Does he want to go into the FIFA/UEFA-system? Does he want to build his own legacy by starting out with a different club?

I think it's smart after winning his 3rd champions league. He goes out on top and there would be tremendous pressure on him you win a 4th. I heard people speculate that he'll take over France...

I heard people speculate that he'll take over France after the world cup which I think is a good possibility for him.

Yeah, he is probably the first manager under Perez to go out on his term and not get sacked.

It was shocking to see him after winning 3 consecutive Champions league with the club. It will be interesting to see how Real will do going into next season with speculations of Bale and Ronaldo...

Yeah and a lot of their players are getting old. Probably smart to leave on a high and if Real don't perform next year he doesn't take the blame.

Yup Ramos and Modric are also very old. Interesting to see how they'll fill their absence.

Very, very surprising. Curious as to who will replace him. Arsene? Poch?

I would love to see Arsene at Madrid to see what he can do there but the bias in me would like them to take Poch away from Tottenham. It'll probably be neither though.
