And ooh boy do we have a spicy bit of sportsmanship/gamesmanship to chew on. Full disclosure, I'm Aussie, so I get to both feel chuffed that we're well on our way to an Ashes whitewash, but also that Bairstow can be dumped on for having his head in the clouds as keeper AND now batter.

Not sure about the white wash, in the end it was closer than it had any right to be. England were what? 50-4 at one point. I thought it would be an all out for under 100 humiliation yesterday.
As for the stumping / run out.. I didn't see that live, but read the live blog on the BBC, and the way they told it initially you'd think Bairstow had been really badly cheated. But then I saw the replays, and especially in the context of the previous balls, he was pushing his luck and you could see the fielders eyeing it. The Aussies were sick of seeing him wander out of his crease immediately after every ball to tap a nonexistent lump in the pitch. A warning like "keep that up mate and we'll stump you" might have made it fairer, but he was naive and it was a good throw from the keeper.
The booing and all that from the crowd was uncalled for, especially to man of the match Smith in the presentation. And the posh knobs shoving the Australia players in their private dining room area there, what was that all about? The stewards had to step in. Not a good look.
Yeah, that Long Room stuff is going to be the bit that haunts England longer-term, I think. On the back of the report that's just come in about English cricket, the aura of what is going on across...

On the back of the report that's just come in about English cricket, the aura of what is going on across the channel, and the fact the people in the Long Room are the oldest, most posh old-money English cricket wankers.......and they pick Khawaja to try dishing it out to?
A few people a few too many drinks in are going to find themselves scapegoats for sure.
