    This essentially means the case wasn't dismissed out of hand. It's more not good news for the NFL than anything else. There's smoke, but it will take an actual court case to decide if there's fire. For these collusion charges to be true, Kaepernick just needs to show it between two of thirty three entities: the the 32 teams and the NFL proper. It doesn't matter if he turned down contracts or if some teams dismissed him legitimately.

    It's also a labor grievance, not a lawsuit. That means it will not climb up the appeals courts regardless of outcome... unless Kaep does decide to actually sue the NFL.
