This time it's not a false alarm. I'm actually surprised that Oakland didn't have to give up a 1st rounder, considering they have 3 from the Mack and Cooper trade. This also makes AB the highest paid WR in the NFL, pushing Odell Beckham Jr. on to 2nd place. This will be interesting to see, since everyone assumed Oakland wanted to go on a full rebuild mode, but they might hold on to Derek Carr and AB as their core and hope for an excellent 2019 draft.
