What did you do this week (and weekend)?
As part of a weekly series, these topics are a place for users to casually discuss the things they did — or didn't do — during their week. Did you accomplish any goals? Suffer a failure? Do nothing at all? Tell us about it!
Didn't want this thread to go a whole week without anything so I thought I'd contribute, I've been pretty busy this week!
Over the weekend, I watched the Fantastic Four movie with my friends. It's always a pleasure watching movies with my friends, especially now that we've been doing so for almost 10 years now. I do not follow DC/Marvel at all and I've never actually watched any Fantastic Four media before so I went into the movie with a completely open mind. The movie was alright, a decent mindless watch. I don't really have any praise or criticism for the movie.
Besides that, I've been really busy with work. I'm leading a project this quarter to migrate some of my team's REST APIs over to GraphQL. There's roughly ~16 endpoints we need to migrate, both on the backend as well as usages on the frontend. I'm only a backend engineer so I've been making all the changes I can on the backend. However, my supporting frontend engineer is currently busy with other duties so the frontend is a little behind at the moment. However, I believe once they free up a bit, they can catch up.
Related to work, I've also been busy trying to switch jobs. I'm currently in the interview loop for 2 companies. I've actually got one of those interviews tomorrow with another in 2 weeks. I'm definitely not prepared for the one tomorrow so I'm going to try to put all my effort on the remaining interview. I've also been applying to a few more to see what I can land.
