What did you do this weekend?
As part of a weekly series, these topics are a place for users to casually discuss the things they did — or didn't do — during their weekend. Did you make any plans? Take a trip? Do nothing at all? Tell us about it!
Me and my fiancée have birthdays around the same time. She gave me a Buddha statue, something I wanted very much. It kinda looks like this, but much better. The idea was to use it to meditate but I found that meditating while looking at Buddha makes me a little stiff, as if I'm looking at my father -- someone I love very much but that also emanates a lot of authority. I think I'll just leave him at the altar, look at it every once in a while and take a few conscious breaths. A reminder for mindfulness. I gave her a Friends mural and a Phoebe funko, which she loved. We both love the show and (re)watch it all the time.
