My backups are done with a simple shell script that calls rclone to copy to Backblaze as a remote option, I would really have to dig to find a similar provider as a drop-in replacement.
If the accusations are true, this seems like a dumb move by business folk who don't care what the actual business is doing. There's no way that the same engineers that built their reputation and who output regular info dumps about drive failures are the same people who thought this would be a good idea. I'm hoping they really are false accusations, it would be a big blow if they go down.
