A true Patriot if ever there was one, I hope the next President is able to pardon her in two years.

So wait, how did I miss the fact that the NSA thinks that Russia hacked a voting machine manufacturer’s software? Is there an investigation into this? Can it happen again? Did it impact the outcome of the 2016 election?

    Am I taking crazy pills?

Awesome. Why are we not protesting against insecure voting machines?

This is perfect. We need more message-hacking like this. How do we make that happen?

"Silicon Valley liberals can hack your election", Republicans would be more invested on the issue.

My speculation is because explaining the issue comes across as technobabble and people tune out.

You know, I’ve given that some more thought. While I agree with you, at the same time net neutrality is pretty techno babble and seems to have no problem getting traction. I guess people are just closer to their ‘net than their votes?

This is the kind of thing I point to when someone asks why I have absolutely no respect for the government, or the two parties that rule it.

She should have leaked it through wikileaks, they pride themselves on not exposing sources. Of course it probably would have taken awhile to surface, they usually seem to be backlogged.

It was remarkably incompetent of the Intercept to send the NSA direct scans of the print outs. I expect they won’t make that mistake again.

, the NSA did an internal audit, confirming that Winner was one of six workers who had accessed the particular documents on its classified system, but only Winner's computer had been in contact with The Intercept using a personal email account.

I'm a little surprised she didn't cover her tracks better.

In addition they likely used the yellow identification dots that are added to most modern printed documents. These could have been removed if they had thought of it.
