As someone who is fairly bad at keeping track of what Google and Apple announce on a day-to-day basis, I would have appreciated a link or explanation somewhere in the article as to what new features are actually being discussed. It makes an interesting point otherwise but without that context it kind of falls flat as an article.

I did a little digging on the apple website. Its a feature called Screen Time. Tools to monitor your usage of applications and websites. As well as some tools to help set restrictions for kids and yourself in regards to the amount of time spent using apps/web sites. Source
