This is some interesting points, and I think (as a poster of stuff anyways) it could be useful to apply when submitting things on sites like this as well. If you post a longform there's a ton to discuss, but if you split that up you can discuss each piece in detail first, and use past discussion to either make sure the discussion goes to better depths or make sure that concerns are addressed.
