    I wonder how everyone else at Twitter finally convinced Jack to let them ban Alex Jones. Edit: I think I figured it out: Alex Jones accosted Jack in person yesterday.

      It's very like Jack (and Twitter in general) to only take abuse seriously once it's aimed at him.

      When did Dorsey know he was going to testify before Congress? He could have made up his mind before, but planned to do it after for strategic reasons. Knowing Mr. Jones, he would provide Twitter...

      When did Dorsey know he was going to testify before Congress? He could have made up his mind before, but planned to do it after for strategic reasons. Knowing Mr. Jones, he would provide Twitter with ample cause at any point in the future.

    I am curious as to the straw that broke the camel's back, and how this will apply to other twitter users who almost certainly should have been banned ages ago. On the other hand, I doubt that...

    I am curious as to the straw that broke the camel's back, and how this will apply to other twitter users who almost certainly should have been banned ages ago. On the other hand, I doubt that Twitter operates off of a precedent-system and more likely does some amount of calculus that is largely concerned with revenue streams vs PR.
