Since Feedbin is 100% funded by paying customers, I can focus solely on making the best product possible without compromises. Therefore, Feedbin can be private by default.

To me this means eliminating all potential points of leaking user data while using Feedbin.

Since Feedbin displays web content, this isn’t the easiest thing to do. Here are the leaks I’ve identified and eliminated.

What other platforms/services are out there that share the same design principles?

Pinboard is definitely one. Maciej Ceglowski (who runs it) has some of the best talks about the tech industry, privacy issues, etc.: http://idlewords.com/talks/

I'm not familiar with Feedbin but I totally agree with the principles espoused here. Really hoping to see this growing backlash against JS bloat / big data mature into a full scale cultural movement.
