    I don't see how you could possibly blame a third party for your shitty business decisions... I mean, if FB deliberately or negligently hid a reportable metric from a paying customer, that's fraud...

    I don't see how you could possibly blame a third party for your shitty business decisions... I mean, if FB deliberately or negligently hid a reportable metric from a paying customer, that's fraud and they should be penalised for that, but there's zero duty of care to any organisation which doesn't enter into a contract with your business, and it would be insane for that to be a thing.

    Imagine if you invent a product, a bug in your inventory system means you think you sold 1 million but it was actually 100k, and then accessory producers decided to sue you since the market for their addons isn't as big as they thought (and in the absence of any mutual contract around the production). Completely ludicrous.
