This is a neat hack that uses GitHub issues as a comment framework. If you scroll down on the page, you can see a string of comments; you're actually viewing a GitHub issue (click on the "<x> comments" link to see the actual GitHub issues page itself.) This is a nifty way to inherit all of GitHub's markdown highlighting, issue tracking, etc. on things like a project blog, for example. It's definitely a niche solution, but I found it interesting nonetheless.
