    Also see: why no one should believe these companies are immune from government pressure (I’m aware this isn’t new). Apple tried to convince everyone not too long ago that if a government forced them to add something other than CSAM for their new scanning functionality, they’d “refuse”.

    No. Apple would refuse such demands and our system has been designed to prevent that from happening
