I know of a couple of other YouTubers who do somewhat similar things (I think one of them is called Shiey or something) but I don't enjoy them as much as VH.
I check back every year or so to see if he has darkened some part of the world with his presence. I'm always saddened that there is nothing. I think it's been long enough and I can do a rewatch

Off the top of my head there are a few other channels I can think of that you might enjoy, which are kinda/sorta similar to the linked channel.
Exploring the Unbeaten Path (urban exploration and forbidden/dangerous places trespassing) GeoWizard's How NOT To Travel Europe and America series, and Straight Line Missions This is Dan Bell (urbex, highly recommend the Dead Mall series) Andrew Wonder (urbex, mostly underground sewers/subways) Shiey (who you mentioned not enjoying but others might... does urbex, forbidden/dangerous places trespassing, parkour, illegal structure climbing, and trainhopping... which often gets their videos removed from YouTube)
There are also a bunch of travel / outdoor Twitch streamers that just wander around cities going to random places and interacting with people too, if that is the element of the linked channel you like most. E.g. https://www.twitch.tv/robcdee (who also has a YouTube channel for VODs)
