TV Tuesdays Free Talk

I re-watched "The Good Place".
Man, what a great show. I think it's my favorite of the last 10 years. In the realm of comedy the only competition it had is another Schur show, Brooklyn 99. I love Chidi and Eleanor, and watching the characters grow is great. I'm so glad that they stick to their for season arc.
Edit: re-watching The Good Place was the emotional equivalent of having really good soup on a really cold day. I felt better for having consumed it. The end reminds me of Vision's line from Age of Ultron - a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts.
I forgot just how hand-wavy Doctor Who can be.
Season 9
In the first episode, Missy is back, with zero explanation. She literally waves her hands! Clara is also back, and I really hope she's less annoying and awful this season. Capaldi is now my favorite Doctor, especially after the tank/electric guitar bit.
My partner and I have also been watching Star Trek: Voyager. We haven't gotten to the cast change, and most of the episodes are real sleepers with no addition to some larger theme. Makes me really miss DS9, but we are determined to watch (or fall asleep to) every episode of Star Trek as a life-long endeavor. I hear Enterprise is especially awful, so looking forward to that, haha.
