    His Dark Materials was one of the first YA fiction series I read growing up and really resonated with me for a long time. I was really disappointed with the Golden Compass movie that came out...

    His Dark Materials was one of the first YA fiction series I read growing up and really resonated with me for a long time. I was really disappointed with the Golden Compass movie that came out several years back and think the story will definitely be better off as a television series.

    James McAvoy and the rest of the cast look stellar, so I am pretty pumped for this.

      The whole plot is for kids, and I don't think it'll work that well if you try hitting demographics rather than reading what the plot can carry on screen as compared to in text where fantastical things can seem plausible.
