This site brazenly violates the GDPR: in order to even see the article, I would have to agree to allow wide-ranging personal data to be collected for marketing and other purposes, and consent to it being sent and sold anywhere.
It also has one of the most audacious privacy policies I have ever seen, including amongst other things, the background collection of bluetooth and wifi data on mobile devices, "with your consent," and lets you that the way you can indicate that you don't consent is by permanently disabling bluetooth and wifi. With such an understanding of consent, I have to worry about the safety of anyone the authors might be attracted to.
