We need an official contract providing us the rights to create a game based on the IP. Even a “Yeah cool” from Jerry or Larry would help.
Will simply not happen. And even if they managed to convince Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David (not likely), they do not own Seinfeld: Sony does. And why would a huge heartless corporation risk such a lucrative IP on an independent videogame project that won’t give them any substantial profits? Little to gain, lots to lose.
It’s a shame cause it looks really good! But I’d advise them to use this creative energy on something else.
