Never met Bam but I live in the area and have hung with some of his group including Evil Jared of Bloodhound Gang fame and they are all just kinda jerk offs. Haven't heard much since Bam has been in and out of rehab but it was like a little cult they had going where everyone thought they were the cats pj's because they hung around some people famous in the mid 2000's. This is coming from someone who was more-or-less part of that culture at the time. I won't deny how miraculous their rise was, because as the article lays out, it is pretty neat considering the lack of real social media. But Bam, is definitely a scumbag. The guy allegedly tried sleeping with my girlfriend when she met him at a show at age 15 (this would have been ten years ago, when he was about 30) so theres that. Everyone in the area is very aware of every dumb thing he did. I think its a great thing they were able to popularize skate/punk culture, and I'm sure the rest of the Jackass guys were okay but Bam is a certified weirdo, and everyone in West Chester outside his circle knows it.
